INTELSIM

INTELSIM PLATFORM - ABOUT

Built by practitioners.
For the classroom and the boardroom.

IntelSim was built to close the gap between how analytical skills are taught and how they are actually used. Structured analytic techniques are learnable, but only through practice under realistic conditions with real consequences for sloppy reasoning.

Structured analysis is taught, not practiced.

Most programs teach structured analytic techniques through lectures and readings. But the cognitive errors SATs are designed to prevent — mirror imaging, confirmation bias, anchoring — only surface under the pressure of a real analytical problem.

Feedback loops are too slow.

When a student submits a paper, the feedback arrives days or weeks later, detached from the analytical moment. IntelSim delivers immediate, specific feedback scored against what an expert analyst would have produced, while the scenario is still live.

No two analysts see the same problem.

Analysis is inherently collaborative and comparative. IntelSim shows teams how their conclusions differed, why, and what that reveals about their underlying assumptions. That conversation is where the learning happens.

Real source materials change the exercise.

Hypothetical scenarios produce hypothetical analysis. IntelSim uses primary source materials drawn from real or realistic cases, which forces teams to contend with the ambiguity, contradiction, and incompleteness of actual evidence.

IntelSim is a multi-player web platform. Teams work through simulation scenarios in real time: reading source materials, building analytical products, and submitting assessments to a scenario-specific decision-maker persona who responds in character.

At debrief, an AI analytical coach scores each team's work against an expert benchmark and surfaces the cognitive biases present in their analysis. Facilitators see team performance in real time and can export results for grading or program assessment.
